Silas Seandel is one of the leading American studio furniture makers. 

Since the late 1960's New Yorkers have collected and cherished his sculpture and furniture made from welded and sculpted metals.

Seandel is still based in Chelsea and does custom work while his vintage pieces are sold across the United States at auction and with top 20th century design dealers.

This is a lovely and very early sculpture with an incised signature. A great gift or an essential piece to be added to your collection of American studio design.
